  • MOJA is a Social Design organisation registered as a non-profit association in Zurich. MOJA aims to empower future change-makers by cultivating agency through education, well-being, and entrepreneurship. MOJA programmes use design as a tool for problem-solving that enables individuals and communities to redesign their experience around a particular challenge and shape their futures. 

  • The MOJA Garden programme is MOJA's foundational programme that provides scholarships to female students in Uganda. The scholarship covers full tuition fees, board and lodge. By creating a direct connection between the benefactor and beneficiary of the scholarship through engagement points called MOJA Milestones, the MOJA Garden Programme is designed for double impact. Sponsors receive regular updates, including letters and progress reports, showcasing the impact of their contributions. Learn more about our MOJA Garden Programme here.

  • All MOJA's programmes are designed for double impact; that means the underprivileged students in Uganda benefit alongside the members through well designed points of engagement throughout the membership

  • Individuals, corporations, and foundations can partner with MOJA by sponsoring a student in Uganda, funding initiatives, or collaborating on projects. If you have a specific idea on how you would like to collaborate with MOJA, write to us at connect@moja.earth. We look forward to connecting with you!

  • MOJA has offices in Zurich, Switzerland and offices in Gulu, Uganda. Currently, all MOJA programmes are delivered in Gulu, Uganda. 

  • Visit our Membership page to donate and become a MOJA Steward Member or a MOJA Catalyst Member. If you're not ready to become a member yet, a one-time donation is more than welcome.

  • At the moment, MOJA does not have a volunteer programme. However, if you have a specific skill set that you think could be useful for us, connect with us directly at connect@moja.earth to see how we could collaborate. We look forward to connecting with you!

  • MOJA shares its Annual Impact reports, financial summaries, and updates with donors and partners. Every franc contributed goes directly to the programs and communities we support. In addition, MOJA is held accountable by a board with bi-annual board meetings. Meet MOJA's board here 

  • MOJA Catalyst membership allows contributions of your choice starting at 30CHF/month, which supports various aspects of the MOJA Garden Programme and supplementary programmes. The MOJA Steward programme matches a MOJA Garden Student with a scholarship provider such that a direct connection between the beneficiary and benefactor is established.  This membership covers the entire cost of tuition, board and lodge of one student for 12 months. The membership duration continues for a minimum period of 1 academic year.
